This hotel has a small 50 cover restaurant with 8 bedrooms, set in a picture-postcard Dorset village. The big kitchen window looks out over the garden with fields in the background. You can walk down the pear walk to their own kitchen garden.

Sat in 850 acres of privately-owned land, they often forage and repurpose as much kitchen ‘waste’ as possible. They have moved towards choosing high welfare, local if possible; meat, eggs and dairy and want to continue improving on this. Placing an emphasis on the vegetables with interesting choices for the vegetarians and vegans.

The food is modern British incorporating as much seasonality across the menu as possible and the Head Chef is 2 AA Rosette level. The menu is small but changes frequently.
