This Family run, award winning Country Inn nestled in the beautiful landscape of The Forrest of Bowland near Clitheroe are looking for an experienced Chef de Partie to join their team.

The position available is for a dynamic hard working person who wants to join a family run business and work within a motivated team who use only the freshest and local ingredients.
Applicants should have a minimum 2 yrs experience within a similar background, working with fresh meat, fish & game, must be reliable, hard working and want to be part of a valued team.

In return they offer a very competitive salary of around £28k on a live out basis, but they also have the possibility of a live in position.

Your own transport is essential due to our rural location, and lack of public transport, or they do have live in available in our converted farmhouse, and access to our staff car should you need transport.

What we need from you?

– Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
– Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
– Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
– Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
– Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
