This beautiful hotel North of the historic town of Peebles in the Scottish Borders, are looking a Chef de Partie and Commis Chef to join the team.
The hotel offers 80 bedrooms, a relaxed Bar Lounge and a Rosette awarded restaurant.
The Head Chef strives to source produce locally from environmentally sustainable backgrounds and has been bestowed the Healthy Living Award.As Chef de Partie you will be working within a team of [4] Chefs, working on your own section in the kitchen you will report to the Head Chef. With a very busy evening and weekend trade you must be prepared to work in a fast paced environment.
What we need from you?

– Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
– Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
– Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
– Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
– Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
