This Family run Country House Hotel nestled in the beautiful landscape near Carlisle are looking for a Junior Sous Chef to join their kitchen brigade. Offering guests a luxury stay in one of their 10 beautifully designed apartments. The 3AA Rosette Restaurant boasts plenty of character, offering a relaxed dining experience in the Bar and a more formal dining experience in the Restaurant and a popular establishment for luxury Afternoon Tea.
Operate a 4 day working week Wednesday to Saturday understanding the need for a good work/life balance. They also offer a comprehensive private healthcare scheme for all their employees.

What we need from you?
-Previous experience within a fine dining establishment
– Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within your speciality
– Managing and training any demi-chef de parties or commis working with you
– Helping the sous chef and head chef to develop new dishes and menus
– Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
– Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
