This is a great opportunity for a Releif Sous Chef who enjoys working with seasonal all fresh produce. Based in the heart of Ambleside this is a very busy location with both locals and tourists in the area.
As Sous Chef you will be expected to maintain the high standards in the kitchen on the Head Chefs days off. This is a great opportunity for a chef who enjoys working within a senior position in the kitchen.
What we need from you?
– Running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef
– Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety
– Monitoring portion and waste control to maintain profit margins
